1998 Renken 29 foot cabin cruiser
It’s technically 29 feet 6 inches but it’s classified as a 28 foot. To further complicate things the actual model is called a 270. I don’t get it either.
Stern to anchor appliance is 29 foot 6 inches.
This is the last boat that ever left the Renken Factory.

Trim master trim tabs
Brand new vinyl on deck
Head, shower and bathroom all function properly
No mildew. No mold. No funk.
The hull could use a compound and wax.
All bilge pumps work.
Two extra new props
She runs 35mph and is pretty fuel efficient at that speed burning only about 8.8 gallons per hour. 250 mile range on one tank. Drop it down to 24MPH and range goes to 315. Peaks @350 mile range just on plane.
Here’s what I know doesn’t work:
Tape player/radio does not work. Needs new cd deck or blue tooth receiver.
Stove top works but trips breakers after about 10 minutes
Interior speakers are blown
Potable water pump works intermittently but haven’t bleached it so could just use a cleaning.
Carpets need cleaning
She’s an absolute dream on the water. Though some of the entry level Renken boats struggle with quality, these 270s were all hand built and can stand the test of time and chop. Absolute cloud to navigate.
Her happy Cruising speed is ~34mph.
This is one of the best sub 30 foot cabin cruisers on the market and for the money it’s probably one of the best you’ll run in to. Easily mistaken for a $50k boat and sits nicely amongst the large midsize cabin cruisers.
Title in hand for boat and trailer.
Delivery is $1.00 per mile anywhere in the country.
Currently on lake Travis. Can negotiate terms on dock in spicewood as well.
