Job Description

Digital Cheetah is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Specialist! In this role, you will generate leads through email marketing campaigns, follow up with customers and prospects over the phone, and be responsible for closing add-on business with our existing clients. We are looking for a self-starter with a passion for technology, people, and satisfied customers.

As a Business Development Specialist at Digital Cheetah you will:

  • Set sales discussion appointments by means of proactive outbound marketing, prospecting, and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.
  • Attend various trade shows and be the primary point of contact for lead follow-up.
  • Qualify leads through thoughtful conversations, and move customers along the sales process.
  • Understand the Digital Cheetah product portfolio enough to provide a high level introduction.
  • Log, track, and maintain outbound activity with SFDC.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain an email marketing calendar.
  • Work closely with your technical counterparts to schedule and attend customer meetings as required.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Two year college degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years experience in a Bus Dev role in the software industry.
  • Strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.
  • Able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the company.
  • Knowledge of or a similar CRM system.
  • Knowledge of Constant Contact or a similar email marketing system.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated.
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
