The Indura™ flame-resistant coveralls weigh only nine ounces and feature a stylish Orange Color. Made from 100 percent cotton fabric, these coveralls are engineered to give you optimal performance. Since they're classified as thermal protective clothing, they're great for industrial environments.
These coveralls are treated with a proprietary process, which includes the application of a flame-retardant chemical. Once the chemical has been applied to the garment, it creates a long chain flame-retardant polymer. The core of each cotton fiber contains the flame-retardant polymer.
Fortunately, the FR cotton stays comfortable and soft. If you're looking for a viable alternative to traditional FR fabrics, the Indura FRC™ is a great choice. It delivers great protection against electric arc and flame. However, the Indura material isn't designed to keep workers safe from molten chemicals. It also doesn't work well for applications that expose workers to strong oxidizers or reducing agents.
The good news is that these coveralls can be used for control operations, welding, flame cutting, gas, chemical, utilities and petrochemicals. They have seven double-stitched pockets. The non-sparking brass zipper closure and Snap-On wrists and lapel are other great features. They even have an elastic waistband for the best fit.
