Very unusual and antique rare metal plaque. Perhaps it was bolted to the front of a Government or ARMY building such as an embassy or military building. Weighs 23 pounds, Very detailed and ornate 3-D eagle. Definitely a federal looking piece of iron. Measures about 15" across. Original patina. Marked "US" at the bottom. No maker's marks. Circa 1900-1920.

Some rust on the sides and on the back. Two off center holes for when it was hanging I assume. Very interesting and rare piece for your home. Please review pictures for details. May consider offers.
