Vintage studio art pottery vase, c. 1960s–1980s. Hand-built in stacked sections with a likely wheel-thrown neck, using a coarse stoneware clay body. The surface is unglazed with oxide washes and an intentionally pitted/volcanic texture—a hallmark of Brutalist and wabi-sabi aesthetics from the era. Substantial and sculptural; perfect as a focal object on a console or shelf.
