Striking and full of mid-century charm, this vintage Sonsco Japan ceramic figurine planter features a dynamic Asian dancer in a dramatic pose, wearing wide-leg pants and a flowing top with hand-painted details in red, teal, and gold.

Behind the figure is a sculpted ceramic drape with gold accents—revealing a small pocket-style planter on the back, typical of 1950s–60s figurine planters made in Japan. These were often used for floral displays, air plants, or simply as charming decorative accents.
