Reduced Very Rare Disney 1990 Serigraph...."Fantasia" - $125 (Round Rock)

The original cels used in production of the film are no longer available from The Walt Disney Company. Thus, the studio recreated Disney character images using the silk-screen print process of color reproduction. Disney artists, working from the original animation drawings used for the production of "The Dance of the Hours", sequence of "Fantasia", as well as from film reference materials, have translated the original image to hand-inked and painted cels.
This rare, hard to find, limited edition was produced in 1990. It is composed of 2500 serigraph cels, and 100 publisher's proofs, for a total maximum of 2600 serigraph cels. The techniques utilized in the production of this edition and the proofs thereof were approved by the Disney Art Program. Conforming to the practice of fine art printing, the silk screens used to create the edition were destroyed when the edition was completed. There are no signed or numbered impressions in this edition. Matted and framed in a gold colored metal frame, and ready to hang on your wall. One small "scrape" on the clear plexiglass, but only noticeable when viewing up close. Approximate size is 19 1/4" X 16 1/4" X 1 1/2". pecial girl or woman that is a ballerina at heart. These will never be made again and is already a sought after collectors piece.
