The L.E. Smith Glass Company, established in 1907, made these classic American pieces in West Virginia, using molds for mass production.
These glass ashtrays were produced between 1950s and 1970s. Often called kettle, cauldron, witch’s cauldron, etc. They are three-footed. The pattern is daisy and button. Approximately 3.75" at the rim and 2" tall.
The two ashtrays for sale are clear and black amethyst. Use them as an ashtray, keychain holder, trinket bowl, etc.
Please note that the black amethyst has a fleabite (chip) underneath the rim in the last pic.
