Hi there! I’m currently looking for someone based in the United States who can help by hosting my personal laptop at their home. I travel frequently and often don’t have a stable place or setup to keep the laptop running and online — which is why I’m hoping to find a reliable person who can support this setup in exchange for monthly compensation.
What I Need
Here’s exactly what I’m looking for:
Safe Storage: A place to physically store my laptop — somewhere dry, secure, and with consistent power and internet.
Always Online: The laptop should stay plugged in and connected to the internet as much as possible so I can remotely access it when needed.
Basic Maintenance: Occasionally, I might ask you to:
Check if the laptop is powered on
Reboot it if it’s frozen or not responding
Plug it back in if it accidentally turns off
That’s it — no technical skills required, just someone dependable and responsive.
What You Need
A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet is fine)
A power outlet to keep the laptop plugged in
A bit of available space (e.g., desk, shelf, or corner of a table)
Availability to respond to occasional messages when I need help checking on the machine
Compensation
I’m happy to offer monthly payments for your help — the amount is negotiable depending on the level of involvement, but since the day-to-day effort is minimal, it’s an easy way to earn some passive income.
Privacy & Security
You won’t be responsible for using or managing the laptop — everything will be handled remotely by me.
The laptop will be password-protected, and all connections will be secure.
