Foundry is a premium, high‑trust membership network for post‑revenue founders and active investors. We curate meaningful, human‑vetted introductions — not mass‑matching, not noise. Our goal is to build the most elegant, selective founder network in the country.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Founding Engineer Intern to help build the MVP ahead of CodeLaunch USA in April. This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role where you’ll work directly with the founder on product development, user flows, and early technical decisions.
This is not a traditional internship — it’s a pathway into a founding engineer or CTO track for the right person.
What You’ll Work On
Building and refining the MVP (frontend + backend)
Implementing onboarding and application flows
Integrating simple databases and authentication
Improving UI/UX based on founder feedback
Preparing the product for CodeLaunch USA
You’re a Fit If You:
Are a CS student or early‑career engineer
Want real ownership and portfolio‑ready work
Care about clean design and thoughtful UX
Are curious, coachable, and self‑directed
Want to grow into a founding engineer or CTO role
Tech Stack (preferred):
React
TailwindCSS
Node.js + Express
PostgreSQL (Supabase)
GitHub
Vercel or Render for deployment
Nice to have:
Experience with authentication (Supabase Auth or Clerk)
Basic UI/UX intuition
Familiarity with REST APIs
This signals clarity, direction, and taste — without being rigid.
What You Get
Direct mentorship from the founder
Real product ownership and visibility
A premium brand to anchor your portfolio
A chance to build something that will be showcased to investors
Potential to convert into a founding engineer role
Compensation
Unpaid internship with potential for equity or a paid role as the company grows.
