To provide the client with support for the Service Now application, including all deployed modules, and tailored applications based upon the platform. The Service Now Developer will be a contributing member of the Global IT Support Services team, and will report directly to the Director, IT Global Support Services. The position will be based in Austin, Texas
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform Service Now consulting, development, integration, configuration, and design
Administer Service Now for the client on a day to day basis
Trouble shoot and support the application as needed
Lead process module requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders
Test and deploy solutions according to requirements
Upgrade the platform when needed
Follow Change Control process for deployments
Advise the client IT Management on best practice and standard approach to Service Now module development and adoption
Recommend Service Now patches and upgrades where appropriate
Provide integration between Service Now and other applications as required Manage enhancements request backlog, including prioritization and suitability
Document and version control around all changes to the application

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 18 months (or similar) experience as a Service Now Consultant / Developer
Service Now Certified Developer and / or Administrator
ITIL Process understanding / ideally ITIL qualified to at least ITIL V3 Foundation level
Exposure to SOAP / REST
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
