Podcast Guest Booker (Part-Time, Remote, 2–3 hrs/week) — Big Questions (Austin)

This is a REMOTE, weekly role (2–3 hours per week) focused on finding interesting guests for the show — comedians, scientists, authors, philosophers, liberty-friendly thinkers, and other compelling voices with real followings.
If you’re highly organized, great at online research, fluent in English, and enjoy discovering fascinating people, this is a perfect side role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Weekly)
- Research and identify 20–30 potential guests.
- Present 2–3 solid leads with a short explanation of why they fit the show.
- Do outreach via a show-branded email address (provided).
- Coordinate & confirm bookings in Google Calendar.
- Maintain contact info in Google Contacts.
- Attend a short weekly check-in (email/Teams/text OK).
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is:
- Fluent in English (required)
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent at written communication
- Comfortable reaching out to influencers, authors, comedians, academics, etc.
- Strong at creative research and social media searching
- Reliable — we expect weekly consistency
- Able to understand and match the show’s tone (liberty-friendly, curious, humorous, intellectual)
- No need to be a libertarian — you just need to understand the space enough to find good guests.
- Students, early-career media professionals, podcasters, and comedy/science fans are encouraged to apply.
