Selling my 1976 Triumph Spitfire. I bought this in May 2022 and have had my fun with it, but now I no longer have the time or interest in keeping up with it.

First things first, the battery is dead (can jump start it). Willing to negotiate with that in mind.

With that out of the way, myself and the previous owner have done a lot of work to it. Here's what work has been done since I've owned it (all work performed by the good people at Steel Classic Garage):

Fuel tank cleaned and repaired (some pin holes were welded and inside of tank is now lined with Red Kote liner)
Wheel bearings and ball joints replaced
Rear shocks replaced
Exhaust replaced with Bell Twin exhaust
Front brake hoses, pads, and rotors replaced
New leather Moto-Lita steering wheel
New carpet

Even has a Bluetooth radio and decent speakers. I also have a brand new front windshield and rubber gasket purchased from Moss Motors that I haven't installed yet. Title is clean and in my name, ready to sell. I'm asking $6000 but open to offers.

Below is what the previous owner did. One of the best things was his completely new wiring he put in. As anyone that knows old British cars, their electrics were their Achilles' heel and that is non-existent with this one.

What is new/repaired:
Transmission hydraulics (master and slave) and tube.
Headlights are now led wrapped halogen, relay switched.
Speedo cable and pinion.
Transmission rebuilt.
Pumpkin/differential rebuilt
Bushings all around.
Shocks/springs in front.
Leaf spring and lowering/leveling block installed.
Handmade custom wood dash.
Oil pan and timing chain gaskets.
Timing chain and tensioner.
Starter
Alternator
Seat belts, auto-locking.
Front stabilizer ball joints.
Tie rod ends and steering rack covers.
Wheel pinions and top knuckle.
Hydraulic lifts on bonnet.
Transmission tunnel cover is now poly and insulated.
And probably more I'm forgetting!

Has a Weber downdraft installed with manual choke. Previous owner converted to electronic ignition, fires right up. Wiper motor has been rebuilt and electronics repaired as needed.
The car has custom wiring. Details:
• Key switch moved from under steering wheel to the dash.
• LED turn signals, brake light, and driving lights.
• Electronic flasher circuit.
• Electric windscreen washer pump.
• LED headlight rings and side markers flash along with the normal turn signals.

Comes with tonneau cover and soft top cover. Top is not perfect but it’s not too bad. I wouldn’t buy if you have to leave out in the weather. Also comes with a full car cover.
The car is perfectly usable now but there is plenty of room for improvement.
