I adore this car. It's quite possibly the best daily driver you could ask for, but I'd like to free up some cash and I have another Porsche to hold me over. That being said, no trades, thanks.
THIIIIS is my 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo with the famed Mezger engine and 6-speed manual transmission in GT Silver Metallic over Cocoa Brown interior. This car was optioned with the rear window wiper, parking sensors, and carbon ceramic brakes (PCCB).
The stock exhaust setup on the 997 Turbos are abysmal, so I wanted to change that. I installed a Fabspeed Carbon Fiber air intake and a SpeedTech 3" Catless X-Pipe Competition exhaust (I have the 100 cel cats if you prefer them). The turbo noises are intoxicating and the car screams under load. Heads will turn regardless of where you are in the rev range.
The previous owner had the VTG turbos upgraded by Promotive, installed a Do88 Big Pack Intercoolers, inlet pipes, and Y-Pipe, and got a tune by Sam at ByDesign (tune is installed on an included Cobb Access Port which also contains the Cobb 1-3 tunes). From what I was told, the car should be making about 600 HP to the wheels, but I've never put it on a dyno to verify.
Exterior modifications include Morimoto XB projector headlights, an aftermarket GT2 decklid with a carbon fiber wing, carbon fiber air intake vents, a carbon fiber front lip, and 997.2 tail lights. Interior modifications include an aftermarket short shifter, a 991.2 steering wheel, and an Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatible head unit. The car is on Champion Motorsports Forged Monolite RS98 wheels.
Coolant lines have been pinned using SharkWerks coolant pipes. Car is riding on new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires installed a few months ago with 1-2 thousand miles on them.
There's currently a small oil leak from above the turbos, and the car sporadically judders a bit coming out of first gear which indicates a new clutch is due at some point. I've not noticed any slipping while driving (I drove the car from New York to Miami without issue) and was going to get both items addressed during the next service interval, but if I end up doing that I'd just keep the car instead.
Asking price includes the OEM front lip, OEM air intake vents, and the OEM decklid and spoiler with the Rennkit E-Ram kit already installed should you prefer a more original look.
I have a pending buyer/friend who is working on coming up with the funds but the longer I hold onto the car the more likely it is it becomes a forever car, so first come first serve. Listing will be taken down once it sells or if I change my mind.
