I’m selling because we hardly use it anymore. The first owner from 1997-2005 was a mountain biker who used it to haul bikes and for his long commute. He put nearly 200k miles on it. I used it to haul a food trailer around for a few years part time and then as a light duty work truck from 2008-2022. The last couple of years hasn’t seen much mileage though I drive it into Austin and Elgin from Bastrop every few weeks.
240,000 miles – 200k highway / 40k city.
*Maintained by Harkins Diesel (Elgin) and Bernard’s (Bastrop) with all major services up to date to 235,000 miles.
*4-door crew cab long bed, 2WD
*Mechanically dependable and starts every time
*Recent Maintenance:
• All Major Scheduled completed through 240,000 miles (2022)
• New glow plugs (2022)
• New alternator (2023)
• New camshaft position sensor (2025)
• New starter solenoid (2025)
• Tires and brakes ~80%
*Known Issues (priced accordingly):
• Rear window motors need replacing (may or may not have the parts)
• Tailgate latch is stuck
• Tint is peeling
• Paint is about a 5/10 with some dings and small dents
• Dash has a passenger side crack
• Two roof clearance lights are cracked
• Driver door handle needs replacement
• Driver-side door panel and window switch area were rigged with a temporary messy fix—functional but needs cleanup or replacement
• Missing one hubcap
• Front fuel tank gauge malfunctioning.
This truck has been part of the family for 20 years. It’s not a show truck, but it’s reliable, powerful, and has plenty of life left.
