Lots of work performed in the last 3 months.
Here is the story:
I bought this truck last January; the cam phasers were out.
And thus began the lengthy process of getting this truck in top shape.
List of what has been done.
New cam phasers
New timing chains
New chain tensioners
New oil pump
New gasket kit
New fuel injectors
New coil packs
New spark plugs
New fan and clutch and shroud
New fuel pump
A new set of 10 ply E rated tires
All of the rebuild was done by Sylvans Automotive in Giddings. They really did a great job!
The truck has only 118k miles and runs very well.
The body is straight, no dents. Only a few minor chips. The hood has clear coat fading.
Interior is nice, free of any defects. New floor mats.
5.4 Triton V8
AC is cold
You will notice in the pic of the motor the battery has some connectors; those go to a small solar panel on the dash that keeps the battery fully charged.
Its only been driven for a few months since all this was done, about 1,500 miles.
Looking to buy a F-250 because I need to tow my travel trailer.
