We are hiring a dependable caregiver to support our nonverbal autistic, fully disabled (wheelchair bound) medically complex teen during the evening routine.
Duties:
• Bring inside from the school bus
• Showering and full hygiene care
• Diapering/toileting care
• Transfers
• Medication organization and administration as directed
• Clean-up and sanitation of care areas/equipment
• Assist with dinner/feeding
• Assist with dinner clean-up (family dishes, counters wiped, kitchen left clean)
Requirements:
• Must be comfortable with hands-on personal care
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
• Background check required (must pass prior to start)
• Pay is partially funded through MDCP; remainder paid directly by family
•Application is through the State of Texas
