Linear supplies are advantages for low ripple, lack of high frequency noise, and low complexity. Additionally this supply is fanless, so is very nearly silent.
Working - see photos of supply in voltage limited mode and current limited mode. Unable to test full output power, but photos show specified output voltage, and separately nearly specified output current into 50W ~2Ohm resistor. The supply can actually reach over 36V and close to 6.5A independently, but the photo doesn't show quite 6A because I didn't want to destroy the 50W resistor.
