For sale is my set of Magnepan 3.6 ribbon loudspeakers in natural oak with black cloth, and consecutive serial numbers. I am the 3rd owner and know the full history of them. 1st original owner traded them in to Overture Audio for some 3.7's, 2nd owner purchased them and had them shipped to Round Rock Texas, I purchased them, boxed them up and took them home to Austin. one ribbon was replaced by the 2nd owner (unknown reason for failure). I've been driving them with a McIntosh MC452 without issue. I did hear some slight buzzing and actually found one of the tie downs to be making some noise. while under the hood, I serviced both speakers and added adhesive to both ends of the bass section, tie downs and magnet dividers. I've owned and rebuilt approx. 16 magnepan panels, carver ribbons, martin logans and i'd be glad to go over my repair process. I have the original box, plastic covers, ribbon transport strips, crossovers, tweeter attenuator resistors, jumpers, name plate badges, etc. Local pickup near Austin Texas area. The latest variant, the 3.7, sells for $9,495. there's not much difference, and some prefer the 3.6 for various reasons but it's your money :) Happy listening!
