The NAD 2200 is a renowned vintage (circa 1987–1989) 2-channel power amplifier, famous for its "Power Envelope" technology, providing high dynamic power (over 4-500w
peaks) despite a conservative 100w
RMS rating. Known for excellent transient response and high current, it features "soft clipping" and can be bridged for high-power mono operation.
This drove my Polk SDA-2s for a year or two, and was able to handle the high wattage & low impedance requirements quite well. Very warm and musical, never got hot under heavy loads. Great condition, see pics of the interior. These guys have gotten quite a cult following over the years. Selling only because my wife is making me clear out some garage space.
I have several other listings as well - check em out. Will cut deals on multiple items.
