Super rare, vintage Marantz stereo system purchased new in Frankfurt Germany in 1979 by a good friend of mine who sold me this system in payment for remodel on his lake house here in Volente, it was working when he put it in storage in his metal building some 20+ years ago, I’ve had it for 11 years stored in my spare bedroom covered with a moving blanket, obviously a climate controlled environment, he had John Trovato owner of Tv stereo clinic inc in cedar park build him what I believe is a transformer? when the original took a shit, that was pre internet so parts weren’t readily available like they are now, I obviously know nothing about stereo repair but as stated earlier it was supposedly working fine when he put it up and I rescued it some years later, all original users manuals and technical specs are included + rare RM-3100 rack plus 2 Marantz HD880 speakers that definitely need some TLC but are definitely repairable, this is a rare opportunity for someone who appreciates this stuff, I’m not sure if it’s cables are hooked up correctly since I pulled them and reattached them, turntable has a new stylus as well,
I don’t want to deal with any shady characters so if you’re not able to be easily vetted don’t bother replying, you will be welcome to come in the house and have a look, we are firm believers in the second amendment
I don’t think I mentioned it still has European style plugs with a 120v adapter
This will be a cash transaction so keep that in mind, I really don’t need to sell this stuff so please save the audiophile jargon for someone else, I will consider reasonable offers
