I bought these new in 2005. They are superb! Function perfectly. IF you haven't heard bipolar speakers, you're in for a treat. They have speaker cones on all four sides. This means you can place them anywhere in any room and they sound great. Definitive Technology are the masters at this type of speaker. They still make this line, and a new pair costs over $2000. Nothing goes wrong with them over time if you do basic maintenance. I am also including a separate surge protector for each speaker. I would never sell these, except I am moving and am over my weight allowance. These things weigh 25lbs each. You can compare the sound of these to a brand new pair and you are not going to hear any difference. They are built to last. Legendary sound at a very low price.
