Gus’s is a full-service restaurant serving beer and wine, alongside what is arguably the best-fried chicken in the world. Gus’s is the winner of the National Fried Chicken Festival, has been featured on multiple shows on Travel Channel and Food Network, and we have been featured in numerous articles including Forbes, GQ, Garden & Gun, Southern Living, and many, many more. We do not take all we have earned lightly, and we are looking for a passionate candidate that will work to earn these accolades alongside their team, every piece, every time.

  Gus's Fried Chicken is looking for servers! Applicant MUST be available on nights and weekends! Shifts are 9:30 to 4:30pm and 3:30pm to 11pm every day. We are a busy downtown restaurant and you will usually walk with $120 - $300 per shift. Tips are paid out nightly.

  You will be expected to...

  • Take care of customers needs, ensuring excellent customer service to every guest!
  • Organize and keep section clean
  • Help run food and provide assistance to your fellow servers (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
  • Detail cleaning of FOH equipment and areas, including bathrooms
  • Following all Health code and TABC requirements

  No rolling silverware!

  No tip pool!
