Set of Four Custom 1m x 2m Cylindrical Stainless Steel Vacuum Chambers –
Helium Leak Tested
We are offering four precision-fabricated stainless steel vacuum chambers originally custom-built
for high-vacuum research applications. These chambers have been superseded by a new smaller
internal design and are now available for resale. These chambers are versatile and can support
a wide range of scientific, industrial, and engineering applications, i.e, Space Simulation &
Environmental Testing, Thin Film Deposition, Ion Beam & Plasma Experiments, Semiconductor
or Photonics Prototyping, High Vacuum Equipment Integration, Detector Calibration or Particle
Instrumentation, Surface Science and Materials Research, Biotechnology or Life Sciences
Vacuum Testing.
These chambers are particularly well-suited for users who need a large working volume, full
interior access, and customizable port configurations without the high lead time or cost of
new builds.
Condition
● Three chambers are brand new, unused, and factory-clean.
● One chamber has been lightly used in laboratory testing and has been thoroughly
cleaned and inspected.
● Two ISO 630 multiport flanges are included
Specifications
● Dimensions: Cylindrical body approximately 1 meter (39") diameter x 2 meters
(79") long
● Construction: Stainless steel with precision welds and structural integrity verified by
helium leak testing
● Leak Test: All four chambers leak-tested to 10−9 Torr after manufacturing
Access & Mounting
● Front and back doors swing open for full interior access
● Front door: Features three large Conflat (CF) ports:
○ Two 12" CF flanges
○ One 10" CF flange
● Back door: Equipped with a grid of M6 tapped mounting holes for internal fixture
attachment
● Interior support: Includes three half-moon equipment mounting rails, evenly
spaced and tapped, allowing easy integration of internal assemblies or instruments
Additional Ports and Interfaces
● Nineteen (19) 8" CF ports spaced across the cylindrical body for instrumentation,
viewports, or additional feedthroughs
● Three KF50 ports intended for small gauges
● Two ISO 630 ports located near the front door for high-throughput pump or utility
connections.
● Two ISO 630 multiport flanges are included with each chamber that consist of two 8”
CF ports and one 10” CF port.
