Up for sale are my Bowers and Wilkins Legendary (B & W) CM 2 bookshelf speakers with CMC center channel speaker in rare light maple finish. Made in England, not China. This is a rare matching set in light maple finish. The bookshelf speakers retailed for $900/pair not including the center channel speaker. The CM2 is a high quality reference 2-way bookshelf speaker system. CM2 speakers from legendary British maker Bowers & Wilkins (B & W). These were sold in limited numbers in the USA before only being made available in England. I am the original owner and purchased them new about 12 years ago. They have seen minimal use. Please, note the small ding in the tweeter in one of the speakers. It is NOT cracked and does not affect sound in anyway. These speakers are in excellent condition acoustically and aesthetically. I also have the bi-wire speaker Monster cables that go with these speakers (sold separately). You can demo them before you purchase. Feel free to ask any relevant questions. More information on the speaker set: Classic B & W sound thanks to the front internally loaded 1" Aluminum-Alloy Tweeter (Same as the classic Nautilus line) and 6.5 inch Kevlar Woven Bass-Midrange Driver. Other acoustically beneficial features include Flow-Port bass enclosure venting. This uses the golf ball-like dimples in the ports to reduce the port noise common in such designs. There is also a moving, bullet-shaped "phase plug" at the center of the bass-midrange cone designed to reduce the directionality of that driver's top-end response. Match this with a stout overly-built cabinet design, and you have a great set of bookshelf and center channel speakers.
