Made in USA and formerly from a college setting. Very well made. Boom stand is the precision type... 2 arm design, with true ball bearings riding on each shaft, for very smooth panning motions
This unit has the .1X to 2.5X Zoom OBJECTIVES. (With the 10X eyepieces...Zoom Range is 10X thru 25X magnification )
ACCEPTS 23MM OD EYEPIECES (available online), so many other magnifications are optional.
Head also quickly detaches for use in the field or for larger objects.

This microscope is also great for doing quick, easy micro-photography! Low cost 23 mm adapters available online to adapt most cameras or CCD's to one of the eyepiece tubes.
