This is a platform bed, so no box spring is required.
Also included is a clean, gently used full-size mattress that was used primarily as a guest bed. The mattress is optional; you're welcome to take the bed frame with or without it.
The bed is in fair overall condition. Over the years, a few joints loosened and were professionally reglued, and there is a small crack in one of the side rails. These issues do not affect normal use, and the bed remains solid and functional. Please review the photos for details.
