A Morris chair is a type of reclining armchair that originated in the 19th century and became a staple of the Arts and Crafts movement. The Morris chair is named after William Morris, the 19th-century British designer and pioneer of the Arts and Crafts movement. The earliest models were produced by Morris & Co. in the 1860s. It typically features:
