Rove Concepts 48" tulip dining table with lacquer top and aluminum base
Modernica fiberglass shell chairs are made in Los Angeles and proudly carry the legacy of the original Eames shell chairs. Using the original shell chair molds purchased from when the estate was sold, and fiberglass formulas and methods to match, they are arguably closer to the original chairs than current Herman Miller produced versions. The four chairs are in excellent condition with no visual issues or damage.
The tulip table is a Rove Concepts replica of the original Eero Saarinen designed version sold by Knoll. Of note is these use an aluminum base and are quite robust/well balanced. This one has been used heavily by our family over the years, and bears nicks some light stains on the table top and chipping on the base. Overall, it looks good and has lots of life left, but please make sure to look over closely.
This table and chairs set cost $3000 new.
