Beautiful vintage executive desk with incredible presence, substantial storage, and the kind of weight and construction you rarely see in newer furniture.
This desk is HEAVY — built like old furniture was built.
Likely mid-century (roughly 1940s–1950s based on styling and construction), though I’ve never had it formally identified.

Condition:
Great vintage condition with expected wear from decades of real use. The desktop surface shows scuffs and marks accumulated over many years — not neglect, just a piece that has been genuinely used and appreciated. Structurally it remains very solid and the finish still presents beautifully overall.
This feels more old attorney’s office / architect’s studio / executive workspace than typical furniture.
Honestly, I love this desk and debated keeping it. I’ve used it extensively over the years. We’re simply not sure our new home has the right place for it, and I’d rather see it go somewhere it will continue being used and appreciated.
