This is a vintage-style console or writing table that’s been beautifully refinished with a modern classic twist. Let me describe and analyze it for you:
🪞 Design Style
The table blends neoclassical and transitional design elements:
• Turned legs and the carved stretcher reflect early 20th-century craftsmanship (Jacobean or Edwardian influence).
• The sleek matte-black finish with gold detailing gives it a luxurious, updated edge that fits both traditional and modern interiors.

🎨 Finish & Materials
• Base Color: A rich matte or satin coal-black paint, done with Fusion Mineral Paint in Coal Black.
• Accents: The drawer trim and apron edge are highlighted with antique gilding wax, forming an elegant scalloped pattern.
• Drawer Detail: The single center drawer features a delicate laurel or olive branch motif on wood — symbolizing peace and victory — with a round gold knob.
• Top Surface: stained wood giving subtle contrast against the black base.
The center piece on the base of the table was a creation by Reborn Furniture since the table lacked that piece when found it.
The measurements for the table are: W 44.5” x D 22” x H 2’.6”
