I bought a butchered steer in December, almost 600 pounds, vacuum packed and frozen solid. The people who I was splitting it with balked at the final cost, over $2100 per quarter, so I got the whole thing.

For example, they list a filet mignon at $55, averaging 6 oz; my filet packages average 9.6 oz, so the price is $88.
