TAMUK (Texas A&M University–Kingsville) rabbits were developed specifically for meat production in hot Southern climates.
The breed was selected for heat tolerance, strong mothering instincts, large litter sizes, fertility, and growth rate.
Our rabbits are raised outdoors in Central Texas and are well adapted to local conditions.
