The Double Spur Ranch (see DoubleSpurRanch.com) is ISO a horse with the potential to help teach people basic cattle gathering/ranch work. We need 15H or higher, Quarter Horse, with the potential of moderate ranch work. We're not looking for a performance horse, and as a community org, we can't afford your 10k roping horse.

If you have a horse that you would like to be off your feed bill, or can't give proper attention to, but love too much to send to auction or sell on this site, we could be the solution. We provide a good/safe lifelong home, and our horses get daily interaction.

We need something with a good disposition, that is generally healthy, and not dangerous to less experienced riders. See our website for more info about us.
