Anybody qualifies for Emotions Anonymous, a 12 Step group in which we admit to feeling powerless over our emotions. When we start coming to meetings most of us are frustrated that we're also powerless over other people, places, and things.
Emotions Anonymous is totally free of charge. Founded many years ago by AA members for folks with emotional problems, we find that working the EA program helps us to gain some control over our thinking and behaviors.
When: Mondays, rare holidays excluded, from 7:30 to 8:30.
Where: The conference room off the cafeteria of Shoal Creek Hospital, 3701 Mills Ave. The temperature is somewhat unpredictable so dressing in layers is appropriate.. The fellowship, however, is always warm and welcoming.
