Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our clinic. This role is essential in creating a positive experience for families, performing daily administrative operations, and supporting our therapists and clinical team. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, enjoys working with children and families, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Check in and assist patients and families.
• Answer, direct, respond to phone calls, emails, and other communications
• Collect patient payments and copays at the time of service.
• Monitor clinic schedules and assist with rescheduling.
• Maintain and Update patient records
• Send patient’s plan of care to doctors
• Support clinic operations through administrative and clerical tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Previous experience in a medical office, therapy clinic, or healthcare setting preferred
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records Platform
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail
• Experience with insurance verification is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
