Hello my name is Zayla I care for your loved one who’s living with dementia or on hospice care. My professional experience starts from working in a group home for adults with mental disabilities (mainly schizoaffective disorder), which I thought is a great idea at the time (opposed to institutionalization which I am firmly against)… Then I saw the un-ideal realities of grouping similarly disabled individuals together in a staffed group home… I thought it would be much better to provide care at their own homes to take pressure off of family members and allow disabled individuals to stay in their homes, families, and communities. This is when I discovered the overwhelming need for in-home senior care and I have been doing this ever since for my clients with dementia all across hill country Texas. I also have personal family experience with my own grandmother who lives with dementia. I also believe that good nutrition can really enhance the brain and quality of life (mounting evidence and literature about a keto diet and certain microbiotics for brain health). I also have a professional cleaning background. So I can clean, cook nutrient dense meals, and aide with day-to-day hygiene and healthy, living and integrating into the community and taking pressure off of family members that are caring for the individual in need.

Clean driving record / background check / drug check. I have a reliable vehicle. I can also do pet and plant care and general home care.

I have referrals on request from clients/families/nurses who really loved my services and offered to speak with anyone in my new city Austin that wants to know about me.
