We are looking for a mature, dependable, hard working, competent, experienced chair side registered dental assistant with a positive attitude. The right person will have an excellent work ethic, dependability, communication skills and the ability to work well under stress. The ideal person must enjoy working in a positive team environment and be willing to work for a very busy unique general dental practice full time. As an assistant you should be able to perform a variety of responsibilities that could include:
Hands on chair side dental assistant experience required.
Outgoing team member, motivated, and must be punctual and professional.
Communicates well with patients.
Assisting the Doctor during a variety of treatment procedures including major services
such as impressing for crowns, bridges, and occlusal guards.
The ability to complete specific treatment processes and the willingness to learn.
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
Take digital radiographs, intra-oral pictures, and digital scanner.
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments, rooms and equipment.
Assists front and back office team where needed. Perform various office tasks as necessary.
Late shift a possibility for the perfect candidate.
Nitrous oxide certification.
Must have current CPR and RDA license.
Good computer skills and dental software knowledge a plus.
Expanded duty functions a plus.
