If you know what a knockbox is, you may know this is a great one. Normcore makes really nice stuff.
If you don’t: It’s a container for espresso grounds so you can collect them for disposal, rather than need to drip coffee or drop particles all over the place every time you prepare a drink. Just knock the portafilter against the (replaceable) rubberized cylinder in the drawer, and repeat through the day until you build a critical mass. Overkill for home use? Probably, but the best kind of overkill.
Condition is what I could call (made-up category) like-new-minus. Meaning you can tell the drawer’s been opened, but it’s unused.
Heavy steel construction, a striking artifact in its own right. But do not strike others with it, because that might trigger some really bad paperwork. ("And you say this person did *not* clean out the steam wand?")
Non-slip feet make it perfect even under a lightweight grinder. Less liable to smidges and prints than the mirror-finish version, which is beautiful, too.
Runs $99 + tax new, so you can get it for less than half the new price.
Though I’m not eager to sell, my wife informs me this is surplus to actual requirements, and we haven’t even settled on a grinder yet ... my loss / your gain.
