Facility Maintenance Technician
Location: Austin, Texas and Surrounding Areas
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking Facility Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team. This position involves hands-on work within construction and maintenance environments, supporting project sites throughout Texas while operating from the Austin area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in the field, traveling as needed, and collaborating in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and general project support tasks at various job sites
Safely operate tools, equipment, and materials in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
Follow project specifications, schedules, and established safety protocols
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and project personnel
Travel to assigned project locations throughout Texas as required
Maintain a professional attitude and contribute positively to team objectives
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or related field work
Ability to provide and utilize basic construction tools
Willingness to travel overnight Monday–Friday, up to four nights per week (hotel accommodations provided)
Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on commercial and/or industrial project sites
Ability to read and interpret basic plans or blueprints
Basic proficiency with computer programs, mobile applications, and smartphone technology
