About Our Family:
We are a warm, active, and faith-grounded family who values connection, flexibility, and a welcoming home. Our household includes a mix of younger and adult children, grandchildren, and four beloved dogs. Our family is closely-knit, with all of our adult children living nearby, making our home a lively place with a lot of action.
In the home, we have two younger children, ages 12 and 15, who are active with school and extracurricular activities and our 23 year old son, who lives with us while he saves up to live on his own. We also have two grandchildren. Our 1-year-old grandson will be spending five days a week with us from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM from January to May 2026. This makes for a dynamic environment where we balance family life with the daily needs of both children and grandchildren. Our four dogs — a growing lab puppy, who is primarily the responsibility of our 23 year old son, (will grow to 80 lbs), a French bulldog (25 lbs), and two miniature dachshunds — are an integral part of the family, requiring care and attention throughout the day.
With so much going on, we are looking for someone who can be a true replica of mom- a structured partner in the home - someone who takes initiative, anticipates needs, and can seamlessly manage both the big and small tasks around the house. Whether it’s organizing the household, meal prepping, coordinating schedules, or helping with after-school activities, we need someone who can juggle the various demands of our dynamic life without skipping a beat. From helping to provide occasional care for our grandson and pets to making sure everything runs smoothly, we need someone with a "no job too big, no job too small" mentality, someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a warm and organized atmosphere. We deeply value professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
Who You Are:
- Detail-oriented and organized: We appreciate someone who can anticipate needs, create systems, and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Proactive, self-starting, and efficient: A person who takes initiative and is always looking for the next task to tackle, without needing constant direction.
- Warm, professional, and personable: Able to maintain professional boundaries, respecting our family values and lifestyle.
- Flexible and adaptable: Someone who can go with the flow and adjust easily as family schedules change.
- Comfortable with children and pets: You’ll be involved in an active household that will at times involve light childcare/supervision for a 1 year old and teenage boys as well as light care for pets.
