Barton Hills Apartments is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our established apartment complex.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections of the community and equipment to identify issues or areas needing repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, including lubricating, cleaning, and replacing parts.
• Respond to resident requests as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, utilizing tools for diagnostics.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Requirements:
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs.
• Must be able to perform on-call duties.
• HVAC certification is highly preferred.
