Operates a 20-24 foot box truck in accordance with local driving laws/regulations and all company safety and security procedures.
Conducts vehicle inspection using the DVIR before and after assigned route(s); completes the route sheet with name, truck number, start mileage, start time, weather, etc.
Reviews route sheet daily for any changes.
Ensures proper equipment and supplies are in the truck prior to starting route; maintains cleanliness of the truck’s cab and the carry box.
Collects all products in or around each bin; cleans inside and around each bin on the route.
Records the estimated weight in bags and pounds for each bin as collected. Inspects the appearance of bins at each stop on route (looks for worn or faded signs, broken trim, condition of the paint, or anything else that would negatively affect the bin’s appearance).
Reports route issues/concerns such as moved/missing bin, competitor drops, construction near bin area, changes in pounds collected, etc. Unloads truck at the warehouse, places product in appropriate areas; deposits all trash in the dumpsters provided by the company.
Properly uses and wears assigned safety equipment at all times during a shift.
Reports all accidents, incidents, and injuries.
Maintains and protects all property entrusted.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MVR STANDARDS
Minimum age of 25
No drug or alcohol charges or convictions within the last 7 years
No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
No careless/ reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Minimum of 6-12 months experience driving heavy-duty vehicles.
Maintain a driving record that meets the company standards Complete safety training.
Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.

Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
