(CDL)FUEL & LUBE TECHNICIAN - AUSTIN UP TO $8K HIRING BONUS (Creedmoor)

The Fuel and Lube Technician performs the daily fueling and greasing of all equipment and supports the Field Service Technicians with performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. This position will fuel all equipment, grease all fittings that require eight-hour greasing, top off all fluids according to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standard, assist with Preventative Maintenance as needed, fill fluids as requested by Technicians, and document all fluids daily to monitor inventory levels.

• One year of related medium or heavy truck driving experience and/or specialized training;
• Heavy equipment maintenance experience;
• Must possess own tools or willing to purchase tools;
• Excellent heavy truck driving skills;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Ability to independently operate commercial motor vehicles;
• Ability to perform basic math functions; and
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

• Formal diesel/heavy equipment training
• ASE Certifications in Diesel Automotive
• John Deere training certificates
• Caterpillar training certificates
• Case training certifications
• Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certified

• Valid Class C driver’s license;
• Safe driving record for the past five years.
