· Establish and maintain quality standards for all phases of construction, including precise finish scopes.
· Execute the daily work plan and track work according to the schedule.
· Read and interpret architectural drawings.
· Layout elevations as per drawings.
· Troubleshot on-site technical issues in real time.
· Demonstrate technical and working knowledge of building methods and best practices.
· Install all phases of Millwork and Solid Surface.
· Mentor apprentice carpenters.
· Act as a positive advocate for job site safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
· 4+ years of high-end carpentry experience in casework, plastic laminate, architectural millwork, ornamental metals, panelized wall systems, laboratory, stone, and solid surface, doors, frames, hardware, and general trades.
· Journeyman-level carpentry skills; foundation through finishes capable.
· Efficient, motivated, dependable, and ethical.
· Able to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
· Exhibit proper use of tools and equipment.
· Excellent communication, team building, and detail follow-through.
· Ingenuity from technical knowledge and experience with both traditional and new materials – problem solver.
· Be able to give and take direction; communicate effectively with Strong interpersonal skills and focus on customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
· Ability to work in physically demanding jobs, including standing, kneeling, bending, lifting, and working at varying heights. Ability to lift 50lbs.
· Ability to pass drug testing, MVR, and criminal background check.
· Ability to be certified on construction equipment.
· Reliable transportation.
· Valid US/State driver’s license.
· Drug Free.
· Legally allowed to work in the United States.
· Be able to work Overtime when required – off shift work and weekend work.
· - Other duties and activities as required by management (could include assisting the manufacturing plant)
Compensation:
· We offer competitive wages, paid weekly, with paid overtime, and a team-oriented environment. Pay is determined by experience and skills assessment(s)
· Job Type: Full-time
· Salary: $25.00 to $30.00/hour plus overtime commensurate with experience level. Paid weekly.
· Travel: We primarily service the Central Texas market. Occasionally, we will take on a project outside of this area for select customers. On the rare occasion that overnight travel is required, we will also provide per diem pay.
