Job Summary
Join our dynamic landscape construction team as a Landscape Construction Worker, where you'll play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning, functional environments. Duties
* Assist in the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fire pits using power tools and hand tools.
* Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and laying out plans according to blueprints and work orders.
* Operate heavy equipment safely for earthmoving, trenching, and material transportation tasks.
* Install plantings, including trees, shrubs, and ground cover, ensuring proper placement and soil preparation.
* Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work for features like steps or borders.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout the construction process.
* Collaborate with team members on remodeling or restoration projects to deliver high-quality results efficiently.
* Follow safety protocols diligently while operating power tools and heavy equipment on active construction sites.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working on construction sites with a minimum of 2 years landscaping or outdoor construction projects.
* Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools and power tools used in landscape construction.
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
* Experience operating machinery such as sod cutters, trenchers, mini track loaders, and skid steers is highly desirable.
* Skills in masonry, hardscapes, xeriscapes, and pool landscaping.
* Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems related to landscape features is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
* Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a company truck and trailer is highly desirable and will come with an increase in pay.
