Pay: Starting at $18/hour with potential for a raise after 90 days based on performance.
Job Description:
5 Star Fabrications is looking for a reliable and hardworking Painter / Laborer to join our team. This position is based in our shop in Jonestown, TX and focuses on painting structural steel along with general shop labor. We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
Paint structural steel components
Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, grinding, masking, etc.)
Assist with general shop labor and material handling
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and instructions from supervisors
Requirements:
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Dependable and punctual
Ability to perform physical work and be on your feet during the shift
Previous painting or shop experience is a plus but not required
