Install ceramic, porcelain, quarry, and mosaic tile on floors and walls.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, patching, and waterproofing.
Measure areas and determine tile layouts.
Cut and install tile accurately around corners, drains, and fixtures.
Mix and apply mortar, thin-set, grout, and other setting materials.
Install Schluter trims, transitions, and accessories.
Follow drawings, specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Report material shortages or jobsite issues to the supervisor.
Complete work according to project schedules and quality standards.
Requirements:
Previous commercial tile-installation experience preferred.
Ability to read construction drawings and measurements.
Knowledge of tile-setting materials, grouting, and waterproofing systems.
Ability to lift materials and work on your knees for extended periods.
Reliable transportation to project locations.
Must follow all jobsite safety requirements.
Willingness to travel within Texas when required.
