EXPERIENCED IRON FABRICATORS & INSTALLERS- SUBCONTRACTORS WANTED
Established custom ornamental iron company is looking for experienced subcontractors for ongoing fabrication and installation work.
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION. We are looking for experienced metal fabricators and installers who can show up, communicate, and produce quality work without constant supervision.
Our work includes:
• Custom modern and ornate railings
• Walk-through and driveway gates
• Glass railing systems
• Cable railing systems
• Stainless steel fabrication
• Steel planters
• Shade structures and carports
• Miscellaneous custom architectural metalwork
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to MIG and TIG weld proficiently
• Must have experience with custom fabrication and field installation
• Must have a reliable truck and transportation capable of getting you, your tools, and equipment to the job site
• Must have your own tools
• Must have reliable communication and respond to calls and texts in a reasonable amount of time
• Must show up when you say you will
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately and work from drawings, plans, measurements, and field conditions
• Must produce clean welds, clean finishes, and professional installations
• Must respect our customers, their homes, and the jobsite
• Must be able to work independently and solve problems in the field
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English with customers, contractors, supervisors, and other trades, and understand jobsite instructions, plans, measurements, and safety requirements.
We are expanding our network of independent fabrication and installation subcontractors throughout the Austin and Central Texas area.
We are looking for established independent contractors and small fabrication companies capable of completing custom architectural metalwork projects on a per-project basis.
If you regularly no-show, disappear for days, cannot communicate, or need to be taught basic fabrication and installation skills, this is not the opportunity for you.
We have ongoing work and are looking for dependable subcontractors we can build a long-term working relationship with.
Most jobs are in Austin and surrounding areas.
Pay is per project and based on experience, capabilities, and scope of work.
