We’re a busy home renovation company in the Austin area looking for a reliable Part-Time Materials Coordinator & Driver to help keep projects organized and running efficiently.
This role combines light warehouse responsibilities with local driving and material deliveries. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys staying organized, likes being on the move, and wants flexible part-time work with a mix of office and field responsibilities.
Ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
Warehouse & Coordination Duties
Receive and organize incoming materials and deliveries
Label and sort products for upcoming projects
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/storage area
Match packing slips to purchase orders and job schedules
Track inventory and update internal material lists
Coordinate pickups and deliveries with installers and project staff
Assist with loading and unloading materials (up to 50 lbs)
Driving & Field Support
Pick up materials from local suppliers including Home Depot, Lowe’s, Floor & Decor, and vendor warehouses
Deliver materials to residential job sites throughout the Austin area
Transport tools, supplies, and occasional equipment between projects
Move and position the company trailer as needed between job locations
What We’re Looking For
Dependable and punctual
Organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working independently
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Truck or large SUV required
Able to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
Basic comfort using apps, email, and simple tracking systems
Nice to Have
Construction, remodeling, or warehouse experience
Familiarity with Austin roads and neighborhoods
Experience with inventory organization or logistics
This is an important support position that helps our crews stay productive and projects stay on schedule.
